The Ministry of Energy formalized the validity of the new prices for natural gas that will be applicable to users and residential users of the level 1 network service, in accordance with the gradual and temporary adjustment established by the Government, between the 1st of June and October 1.

It did so through resolution 610/2022 published this Tuesday in the Official Gazette, which put into effect the new rate charts “by region, taking into account the principle of equity and equality”.

The increases will only be applied to users of level 1, with higher income, and to those who have not completed the registration form for the Registry of Access to Energy Subsidies (RASE), both levels 2 (lower income) and 3 (average income) will not have any change with respect to the rate they were paying.

Thus, the users included in the Tier 1 segment will pay the full cost of services public natural gas by network contained in the bill, in a gradual process and in bimonthly thirds, in such a way that, at the end of the current year, they are paying the full cost of the energy billed to them.

According to the new charts, users in the province of Tierra del Fuego will have the lowest gas price per cubic meter, of $6.37; and those of the northern zone of Buenos Aires the highest, of $13.93; after the first adjustment.

These values will increase from this month to $8.83 and $19.32 respectively; and then in November they will rise again to $12.25 and $26.79.
