The Superintendence of Land Transportation of People, Cargo and Merchandise (Sutran) spoke about the complaints made in the Punto Final program about alleged appointments of people close to the president’s government peter castle.
Through a statement, the state entity assured that the designations that have been made in the positions of trust were made following the required profiles.
“It should be specified that appointments to positions of trust, prior to the entry into force of Law 31419 and its regulations, have been carried out according to the profiles required for positions of trust established in the entity”, reads the statement.

In this sense, he assured that they will be made available to the Comptroller General of the Republic and other entities for the corresponding control and inspection actions to clarify the facts.
“These designations have passed through all the corresponding filters established by the entity’s regulations. (Human Resources Unit, Office of Legal Advice and General Management),” Sutran added.
In addition, he recalled that in June of this year he requested Servir to review the position classification manual in order to comply with Law 31419, which establishes provisions to guarantee the suitability in the access and exercise of the public function of officials and directors of free appointment and removal.
Complaints
Last Sunday, in Punto Final, the former Vice Minister of Transport Fabiola Knight and workers denounced that Sutran has become an employment agency for people close to the Government Palace.
According to the Sunday newspaper, when Caballero fulfilled her duties as deputy minister and in charge of Sutran, at the end of 2021, she was surprised by the dozens of resumes that arrived at her office.
“This already looked like an employment agency. The characteristics were that they had to be from Cajamarca, Chotanos, friends of the Palacebut there were two aspects of the Palace through the general secretary or the wife of the president”, he commented.
