However, his permanence in said group did not last long, because after he lost the list that he headed for the Board of Directors, he went to a new bench.
“It is a demonstration that I have good friendships. It’s part of an understanding, it’s part of the fact that I really meet full-fledged professionalswho believe in democracy and trust Héctor Acuña”, he declared about it on Canal N.
“I have met young professionals, professionals who have also learned from them and have encouraged me to continue on my path”, he added.
When asked why he decided not to stay in the last parliamentary group to which he joined, the parliamentarian indicated that the members of the caucus “they understood” that his place was in the center.
“(Why didn’t he stay in Cambio Democrático?) They understood that my location was in the center and how nice that your friends place you where you belong“, answered.
Next, Acuña assured that he had not migrated to Cambio Democrático just to run for the Presidency of Parliament, but rather to find points of agreement with colleagues of a different political orientation.
“It was not to run for the presidency of Congress, it is more to seek how to make a different party life, where we can find differences, approaches”, he explained.
This Monday, the Integrity and Development bench was presented, which will be made up of Flor Pablo, Susel Paredes, Hector Acuña, Carlos Zeballos and Carlos Alva.
