They reported 1,803 new infections due to covid in Colombia this Friday, after analyzing 55,342 tests (28,373 of PCR and 26,969 of antigens).

The country already accumulates a historical balance of 5,103,269 infections and 28,885,434 processed samples.
With cut to December 17, in the national territory 4,943,964 people had recovered from the virus, while 11,786 are still with the active covid.
Bogotá (1,468,229), Antioquia (778,152), Valle del Cauca (420,125), Atlántico (341,325) and Cundinamarca (266,876), the areas of the country that concentrate most of the historical infections.

Worldwide, the number of people who have been infected is 273,518,677.
As for deaths, 50 new ones were reported in Colombia, 44 of them occurring on different days.

The total deaths in the country due to the pandemic amounted to 129,345, while in the world 5’343,067 deaths have been reported.
Regarding vaccination, as of December 14, 66,297,622 doses against the coronavirus had been distributed and 61,722,515 had been applied. And the number of fully immunized people, with one or two doses, was 26,737,024.
