The Ministry of the Interior (Migob) made it official that the citizen of Costa Rican origin Manuel Arnoldo Cerdas Cubero obtained a favorable resolution to obtain Nicaraguan nationality as of July 22, 2022.

They indicate that the Costa Rican “has been a permanent resident of this country since February 1, 2013 continuously and uninterruptedly” and that he also has a relationship of affinity and consanguinity with Nicaraguan citizens.

Cerdas Cubero was born in San José, Costa Rica, on January 19, 1967. He currently resides in Managua. In the fingerprint of him there is no additional information about him.

Other nationalized

The regime of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo recently gave Nicaraguan nationality to Ebal Jair Díaz Lupián and Ricardo Cardona, former Minister of the Presidency and former private secretary during the government of Juan Orlando Hernández (JOH), respectively, in Honduras. Both fugitives from justice.

Various resolutions of the Ministry of the Interior (Migob) of 2020, 2021 and 2022, published in La Gaceta Diario Oficial No. 111 of Friday, June 17, reflect that the two former officials of the Hernández Government were nationalized along with their family by the dictatorship from Nicaragua.

Likewise, it has granted nationality to Salvadoran officials persecuted for corruption in their country, including former presidents Mauricio Funes and Salvador Sánchez Cerén, as well as the relatives of those politicians.
