President Alberto Fernández will tour works in progress on the new Presidente Perón highway and at the National University of the Buenos Aires party of José C. Paz. Later, he will swear in the new Secretary for Strategic Affairs, Mercedes Marcó del Pont.
The agenda of activities begins this Monday at 11:30 and the president will be accompanied on the tour by the Minister of Public Works, Gabriel Katopodis, it was officially reported.
According to what was reported, the works of the Presidente Perón Highway and the University of José C. Paz involve a total investment of $44,126 million.
Regarding the Presidente Perón highway, it was explained that it is the construction of the new highway, which will be consolidated as a third ring road of the Buenos Aires metropolitan area.
Meanwhile, regarding the National University of José C. Paz, it was added that the works include the completion of the Lecture Hall Building, University Dining Room and a Swimming Pool with an Olympic Pool. The estimated total investment is $588 million.
In the afternoon, at 5:00 p.m. and in the White Room of the Casa Rosada, Fernández will swear in the new Secretary for Strategic Affairs, the former head of the AFIP Mercedes Marco del Pontwho takes over to replace the resigning Gustavo Beliz.
