Tabasco, Baja California and Hidalgo were the three entities that registered the most important advances in terms of economic activity in the first quarter of 2022 compared to the same period in 2020.
Other states that also registered significant growth were Chihuahua, Oaxaca and Chiapas.
In contrast, Campeche, Mexico City, Veracruz, Puebla, Colima and Nayarit were the states that presented the most pronounced contractions in their level of economic activity compared to what was registered before the Covid-19 pandemic.
