Marciana Domínguez Duarte, 36, was the one who accused the firearm shots fired by her former partner José Miguel Báez, 37, who later shot himself in the chest and also died.

According to the police report, a few weeks ago José Miguel found out that Marciana had a new boyfriend and that made him so angry to the point that through text messages he let him know that he was not going to put up with this new relationship, but the woman let him know that they had already finished and to forget about her.

Far from following that advice, this morning at around 5:00, Báez broke into the precarious house where Marciana Domínguez was asleep and in front of her two children, ages 13 and 5, opened fire on the woman.

When he was sure that he had killed his ex-partner, he took the revolver and shot himself in the chest at heart level and also died on the spot.
