Santo Domingo.- The Permanent Attention Court of the National District postponed until Saturday, August 6, the knowledge of the request for coercive measures against the Ukrainian Natalya Kasianova and the Dominican Michael Jaironel Castillo, accused of acts of torture and barbarism to the detriment of the ex-partner of the foreigner.
Judge Rigoberto Sena Ferreras ordered the postponement at the request of the Ukrainian Kasianova’s defense attorneys, who asked the court to appoint a court interpreter, because allegedly the accused does not speak Spanish and that would limit her means of defense.
The event occurred on May 23, 2022, at approximately 11:00 in the morning, at the Ibiza Tower of the 30 de Mayo highway, sector 30 Mayo, in the capital, according to the instance.

Explains that Natalya Kasianova associated with Michael Jaironel Castillo, who is deprived of liberty, and Luis Vargas (fugitive), to commit the criminal action to the detriment of Miguel Angel Linares.
The incident occurred when Linares attended an appointment made by the defendant to allegedly talk about the relationship they had had for approximately three months and that had already ended due to the physical and psychological abuse to which she subjected him.
When Linares arrived at Kasianova’s residence, he was greeted by Vargas, who escorted him to the apartment. Upon entering, the victim realized that the woman was accompanied by Michael Jaironel Castillo.
Both were hired by Kasianova to beat up Linares, while she watched and cheered while mistreating him.
The defendants tied his hands and feet, gagged him and beat him all day until he was unconscious, facts that were recorded on their electronic devices.
At night, the three involved threw the victim on the 30 de Mayo highway, near Núñez de Cáceres avenue, from where he managed to untie himself and ask for help.
As a result of the acts of torture and barbarism, Linares has traumas and wounds on his face and extremities, with injuries that were diagnosed through medical-legal certification.
Due to her link to the event, the accused was arrested by court order dated July 11.
