After carrying out an inspection during the month of June of this year, the Institutional Control Body (OCI) of the Provincial Municipality of Castrovirreyna issued a report with four observations on the handling of donations of goods delivered by the Ministry of Women and Populations Vulnerable (MIMP) to the commune in question.

OCI REPORTS ADVERSE SITUATIONS
Through Control Visit Report No. 041-2022-OCI/0395-SVC, the Comptroller’s Office warns of four observations that were identified during the evaluation period carried out by the OCI of the Castrovirreyna commune.
The first observation was that goods that were donated by the MIMP to the municipality were missing. After reviewing the registry of donations, the OCI verified that there are 171 goods that are missing.

Another observation is that the provincial commune did not publish on its website, nor did it send the list of final beneficiaries, which would affect the transparency of the distribution of assets.
The third adverse situation identified was that the municipality distributed the donated goods to people for whom the donations were not requested.
The last observation was that the municipality did not register the registry of final beneficiaries, the description and the quantity of the goods delivered by the commune.

On these four adverse situations, the OCI sent the report to the mayor of Castrovirreyna province so that he adopts preventive and corrective actions.
Likewise, the burgomaster must send the OCI the action plan with which he will intervene in the case.
It should be noted that, for the actions to be taken by the mayor, there is a period of 10 calendar days to submit the action plan to the institutional control entity of the commune in question.
