The Peruvian Organization of Consumers and Users (Opecu) warned today that the state oil company Petroperu lowered the price of LPG, bottled and in bulk, by S/ 0.071 per kilo, including tax, and had an impact on the gas cylinder by S/ 0.71 and Automotive LPG by S/ 0.14 per gallon. Likewise, gasohol and 84-octane gasoline were reduced by S/ 0.74 per gallon, and 90-octane gasoline by S/ 0.85.
It is worth mentioning that these downward variations are due to the update of their respective price bands on Thursday, July 28.
However, the prices of 90, 95 and 97 octane gasohols and 500 industrial oil did not vary. Regarding diesel 2, diesel B5 and industrial oil 6 products for electricity generation, which are in the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund, the Updates to your price bands from Friday, July 1 are in effect until Thursday, August 25, 2022.

They also reduced gasohol and 84 octane gasoline by S/ 0.74 or 4.5% per gallon, and 90 gasoline by S/ 0.85 or 4.6%. Downward variations in line with the update of price bands on Thursday, July 28, and should already be fully reflected in taps and retail outlets nationwide”, affirmed the president of Opecu, Héctor Plate Cánepa.
“We hope that the state oil company, with the same precision and punctuality shown in this downward price variation, will transfer this weekend the impact of the international reference price variations of 90, 95 and 97 octane gasohols in S/ 0.85, S/ 1.06 and S/ 1.21 per gallon, including tax, published by Osinergmin on Monday, July 25. It is the right thing to do in harmony with the right of consumers to receive fair, equitable and timely treatment in their consumer relations or commercial transactions”Plate added.

- Bulk LPG. It contracts from S/ 3,422 to S/ 3,351 per kilogram, decreasing by S/ 0.071 or 2.1% and impacting Vehicle LPG by S/ 0.149 per kilo, including tax.
- Gashol 84. Contract from S/ 16.48 to S/ 15.74 and drop S/ 0.74 or 4.5% per gallon, including taxes.
- Gasoline 84. Low from S/ 16.45 to S/ 15.71 per gallon, including taxes. Reduce S/ 0.74 or 4.5%.
- Gasoline 90. Retract from S/ 18.61 to S/ 17.75 and discount S/ 0.85 or 4.6% per gallon, tax included
The prices of Gasoholes 90, 95 and 97 octane, diesel B5 S-50 UV, diesel B5 S-50, diesel 2 S50 UV, diesel 2 S-50 S-50 and industrial oils 6 and 500 do not vary.
