Santiago.-The shoe shiners who offer services in three of the main parks in this city were recognized by the provincial government for having given part of their lives to serving the residents of Santiago de los Caballeros with dedication and dedication.
In total there were 11 honorees with the delivery of a parchment and a check for 10 thousand pesos for those with more than four decades of trade and others with eight thousand to five thousand for those with less time.
The act was led by the provincial governor, Rosa Santos, and the deputy press director of the Presidency, Lucildo Gómez.
The renowned ones have been shining shoes for years in the Duarte, Colón and Archbishop Portes (Los Chachaces) parks.
Among those who received checks for an amount of ten thousand pesos are Lino Andrés Batista, Manuel Acevedo, Virgilio Cruz and Adriano Díaz.
While Fausto Rosario and Holguín Almonte benefited from eight thousand pesos and Elpidio Batista, José Valerio, Mariano Peralta, Valentín Ventura and José Alfonso Batista benefited from five thousand. The global amount delivered by the representative of the Executive Power amounts to 81,000 pesos.
