Pemex reported that one person died and another disappeared this Friday after an “incident” caused by a storm at the Madero refinery, in the state of Tamaulipas.
Lightning caused a truck at the site to catch fire, Pemex said in a statement, causing an oil well to catch fire as well.
Around 6:30 am Friday morning, the body of an employee of the contractor Amarelo Power was found, Pemex said, while an employee of the contractor GMG was missing.
