The totem has three faces, two of which contain information for users such as a map with the location of the cycle station where it is located as well as others nearby, plus the stations and stops of other nearby public transport systems such as the Metro, Metrobús and Trolleybus, for example.
It also has a general map of the city’s transport network, with the city’s Metro lines.
On the third side, the narrowest, there is a screen, as well as instructions on how to use an Ecobici and the price of the service, while in the lower part there will be a contactless payment system where you can pay through some bank card or mobile device, however this device was not yet installed at the time of visiting this new cycle station.
There will be a total of 687 cycle stations with new bicycles that will be installed during the next few months to renew the system in the municipalities where they are already located (Cuauhtémoc, Benito Juárez and Miguel Hidalgo) as well as the extension of the service to three new municipalities (Coyoacán, Álvaro Obregón and Azcapotzalco).
