President Luis Arce attended this Thursday night a “founding congress” of the Departmental Coordinator of Professionals of Santa Cruz and called for preparation to hold positions in government projects; nevertheless, the group of professionals from Santa Cruz issued a statement warning of the creation of a parallel organization.
“We urge our authorities, president, vice president, ministers, national directors, regional directors, departmental directors, district, departmental and national political directorates, to take the necessary precautions to preserve and preserve our militancy, since division and parallelism generate disorder and distance from the bases”, warns the document published by the professionals in the official account of the group on Facebook.
Some two hundred people attended a Fexpocruz stand this Thursday night to an act held in Santa Cruz and had as its main guest to the Head of State. The authority at no time mentioned the existence of a professional entity in this city
“We would not have been able to carry out so many actions if it had not been the active participation of the professional level, there are many professionals that we can remember since 2006 to date they have been contributing”, said Arce in his speech.
The president called for education with a social conscience and said that in the country there were professionals who have passed through the Government and for the history of the country that left bad memoriesalthough he did not mention names.
“As the unions grow, as we have more auditors, more engineers, more lawyers, more doctors, more nurses, is generating a need to organize, to group to defend their rights as professionals”, encouraged the president.
While the masista professionals claimed why are considered as the professional group which is recognized by the departmental level of the MAS. In fact, in the government party there is already an open division in Santa Cruz, with the so-called “East Bloc” and the departmental leadership, both factions declare themselves as authentic representatives of masismo.
“Faced with a call for a self-appointed founding congress that is circulating on social networks, it does not have the organic support of our leadership, nor of any structure of the Movement for Socialism, therefore it does not belong to the identified professionals and organized in the instrument,” says another part of the statement.
In La Paz, it was also learned of the structuring of a so-called, “Pantaleón Dalence Federation of Professionals”, the same one that would also be holding its founding congress tomorrow, Friday.
