Deputies consider that changes in the cabinet are urgently needed to recover social trust

The deputy of the independent caucus, Gabriel Silva, expressed his opinion regarding the possible changes that could occur in the cabinet of the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, and said that one of the reasons is that we are already halfway through the government, but there is no progress. on fundamental issues such as education, health and safety.

He explained that the population is frustrated by the current mismanagement, because much of what they have said and promised has not been fulfilled, such as the transparency law, putting education first and complying with austerity. “However, we are seeing in his actions that he is not being fulfilled… There is a big difference between saying and doing,” she said.

He added that the most prudent and intelligent thing would be for the president to listen to the popular clamor and make some changes in his cabinet “so that it goes to a fresh air that helps him change the projection that the citizens have about his administration.

For his part, deputy Leandro Ávila, expressed that there are some ministers who accompany the president of the republic who are not walking at the same pace that he needs and stressed that other officials go unnoticed in public administration but recalled that changes can only be made the president since they are decisions inherent to his office.
