One day after CID Gallup announced that among the most popular political figures in Latin America is Cristiana Chamorro, the only one who appears in the country, the Nicaraguan regime sent out its own survey under the signature of M&R Consultores.
In its eagerness to make Daniel Ortega look like a leader, M&R placed him in the “second” position as the president with the highest approval in Central America with 77.3%, only surpassed by Nayib Bukele, from El Salvador.
That percentage is also far from the 37% support that CID Gallup had indicated for Ortega, in reference to the presidents with the best performance.
The M&R pollster came forward and stated that its survey was carried out in the second quarter of 2022. “The results of the second evaluation of the government approval management of the different countries of the American continent were presented in the study,” he said. to official media the general manager of the pollster, Raúl Obregón.

The deputy president of the Rosario Murillo regime expressed her gratitude to the pollster for the results. “We want to recognize the Nicaraguan people and the Nicaraguan families, the appreciation, the excellent appreciation that they have and we all have of the advances in this fraternal Nicaragua,” Murillo said in communication with official media.
To date, Daniel Ortega remains one of the most criticized and repudiated presidents for the repression and siege since 2018 against dozens of opponents. Currently, he is holding more than 190 political prisoners in captivity.

The survey carried out by the Interdisciplinary Consultancy in Development (CID Gallup) indicates that for the month of May 2022, the presidential candidate and now a political prisoner Christiana Chamorro Barrios he is among the most popular political figures in Latin America.
