Freddy Ñáñez, Minister of Communication, reported this Wednesday night that the country registered 635 cases of coronavirus.
explained in the daily balance of the virus in Venezuela there are 632 infections by community transmission and 3 imported.
The community cases are located in the following states: Miranda 270; Caracas 127; Yaracuy 55; Zulia 45; Bolivar 44, among others.
Miranda presents the highest number of infections in 13 of its 21 municipalities: Baruta 63; Sucre 59; The Salias 41; Lander 34; Urdaneta 26, among others.
Of the 3 imported cases, 2 come from Panama and 1 from Türkiye. All with entrance through La Guaira.
The official reported that with the new data, the country reaches 534,014 confirmed coronavirus infections, 4,765 active cases and 523,492 people recovered, which represents 98% of cases.
“To date we have 2,979 patients who are asymptomatic, 1,453 with mild acute respiratory failure, 241 with moderate acute respiratory failure and 92 in the Intensive Care Unit,” he said.
“Today we do not report deaths in our country, we maintain the figure of 5,757 in the national territory,” he concluded.
