Retired officers from the Peruvian Navy (Naval Union) requested that activities be suspended for National Holidays. Through a statement, they explained that they make this request due to the complaints against the president, peter castle.
“Given the very serious public questioning to which the President of the Republic is subjected, materialized in five fiscal accusations in one year of office, it is an unequivocal sign of lack of legitimacy to personify the Nation and receive the honors established in the acts of an official nature, including the Great Parade and Military Parade of the year 2022,” the document states.
