The deputy of the ruling Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD), presented this Wednesday morning, before the Electoral Tribunal (TE), her candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic for the free candidacy, for the general elections of 2024.
Rodríguez declared that, “we are really disgusted by the whole way in which the government has administered. We have presented more than 190 bills, the last one was 808 to lower the price of fuel and they simply vetoed it and filed it; we have always been ignored. and projects that serve to improve the quality of life just throw it away.”
The perredita deputy said that it is time for people to take charge of the country because “I dare to save the house of all Panamanians, enough of impunity, of playing alive, of what’s up for me.”
It should be noted that after the process of renewing the internal structures of the PRD last May, the results of which further aggravated the divisions within the collective, Rodríguez assured that it was shown that the party “is kidnapped by Benicio Robinson.”
The deputy, from the 8-6 circuit, in the district of San Miguelito, from this Wednesday, would join the list of candidates for free application who have already formalized their pre-candidacies for this popularly elected position, these are: Francisco Carreira , Dimitri Flores, Gerardo Barroso, José Galloway, Zuriela Gómez and Eduardo Quirós.
