Delfina Gómez insisted that the school has proven to be the safest place for free contagion of COVID-19.
When participating in the ceremony for the delivery of school support to Basic Education students in the “Fundadores” Square, the head of the SEP pointed out that, “as a society, we have the great opportunity not to leave girls, boys and adolescents without education” .
Accompanied by the Governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, assured that, in the face of the ravages caused by the pandemic, the three orders of government work with mothers, fathers and guardians in the proper management of health protocols to guarantee the safe return to campus towards the start of the new school year.
He also commented that the Mexican government will serve 1,800 SLP schools with direct resources through the La Escuela es Nuestra (LEN) program and indicated that the Benito Juárez Welfare Scholarships support low-income families with 850 pesos a month, in addition to of the different teacher training programs.
