The executive director of the Executing Technical Unit for State Land Titling (UTECT), Mérid Torres, left this Monday for the United States, to deliveryr for the first time more than 80 property title certificates to an equal number of beneficiaries residing in North America.
The ceremony will be held in coordination with the consulate of the Dominican Republic in New York, this Wednesday, July 27 at 5:00 p.m., at the diplomatic headquarters located at 1501 Broadway suite 410, New York, NY 10036. .
The Dominicans who will receive their titles reside in New York, Miami, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Paterson, Boston, Tennessee, Georgia and Puerto Rico, whose properties are located in the provinces of Santiago, Montecristi, Azua, Monte Plata, Hato Mayor, Nagua, Gaspar Hernández, San Cristóbal, Santo Domingo Norte and the sectors of Los Mina and Sabana Perdida, among others.
As a momentous event, an office of the Executing Technical Unit for State Land Titling (UTECT)in the United States, where Dominicans will be able to have all the information about the processes to obtain the title of their property.
Mérido Torres, indicated that Quisqueyans residing abroad had begun the process in the country, with the purpose of legalizing their properties, but it was in this administration by order of President Luis Abinader, where it was officially given importance for such purposes.
