Like every year, for this edition the aim is to break the record for making the largest cake in the world. So the preparation of a 74 meter megatorta.
When is the Venustiano Carranza ‘cake fair’?
It will take place from August 3 to 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the esplanade of the city hall, located at Francisco del Paso y Troncoso 219, Colonia Jardín Balbuena.
The inauguration will take place on August 3 at 10:30 am.
What activities will there be?
In addition to the central event that is the preparation of the 74-meter cake, there will be more than 100 national and international exhibitors, live music, shows and surprises, according to the mayor of the demarcation, Evelyn Parra.
There will also be cakes of all kinds, from traditional tamale cakes, better known by the residents of the capital as “guajolotas”, to exotic meat such as manta rays.
