The detainees and the evidence were placed under the orders of the Superior Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Drug-Related Crimes of Panama, to continue with the corresponding procedures.
Six citizens apprehended, including a Colombian and alleged drug seized, were the results obtained by the Anti-narcotics units of the East Panama Brigade, in the Mamoní Arriba sector in Madroño.
The police action was recorded through verification and information tasks, in which a group of citizens was observed carrying six backpacks with 46 packages of alleged illicit substances, who, by calling them to stop, tried to flee, for which the units gave immediate pursuit, managing to retain the six citizens.

It was learned through information from the Public Ministry that the allegedly involved were ordered to be held in preventive detention for six months while the investigations continue.
