The 16-year-old Venezuelan adolescent Abel Castellanos was murdered shot in the chest while outside the residential complex where he lived in the city of Suwanee, Georgia, in USA.
“The victim had a single bullet wound to the chest,” Suwanee Police confirmed.
Also, in a statement sent to Univision 34 Atlanta Authorities said, “Suwanee Police are asking any eyewitnesses who may have observed anything to contact Detective Dawn Zaenglein.”
The incident occurred outside The Residences on McGinnis Ferry apartment complex in Suwanee on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 19.
Relatives told the media that the young man went out to meet some of his acquaintances and was apparently shot in the chest.
“We went to the Suwanee Police. He confirmed that it was Abel and that he had been shot in the chest and that he had died instantly, ”said Odlanir Castellano, the victim’s uncle, who also commented that they still have many doubts about what happened.
Abel’s mother and uncle ask the US authorities that the murderers receive the full weight of justice. Both described Abel as an exemplary adolescent, kind and studious.
The authorities said on Thursday they were on the trail of suspects in the death of the young man, a report from Telemundo Atlanta.
