An investigation carried out by the Canelones Police Headquarters for the murder of a 29-year-old man with eight criminal records resulted in the arrest of four people related to the incident.
The murder took place on July 10. in Paso Carrasco. Around 4:00 a.m. that day, the victim perished after being the victim of an attack. The man had two wounds, one from a stab wound and another from a firearm.
In a few days the Homicide Department de Canelones identified two people after analyzing the video surveillance cameras in the area. At that time, a 26-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were arrested. Both were charged with the crime of especially aggravated homicide. For this accusation, the Justice decided to issue a precautionary measure of 120 days of effective prison.
Two brothers prosecuted for murder
The investigations into the case continued and the Police managed to identify two more alleged criminals. In this case it is a pair of brothers of 33 and 35 years of age. The first has a history of robbery, attack, theft, reception and private violence. The second has a record of two robberies and injuries.
According to the Canelones Police, the eldest of the brothers was charged as the author of a very especially aggravated crime of homicide. On the other hand, the minor was accused of participating as a co-author of the homicide. In the case of these two, preventive detention was ordered pending trial, which has a term of 180 days.
