The rewards program of the Ministry of the Interior notified the increase in the reward for the capture of Fray Vásquez Castillo, the investigated nephew of President Pedro Castillo. This request had been arranged on July 22; however, it was only communicated this Tuesday the 26th.
The delay in the execution of the disposition of the Evaluating Commission of Rewards Against Criminality triggered the resignation of the then Vice Minister of Internal Order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lieutenant General (r) Martín Parra Saldaña.
In the session of July 22, it was also decided to double the amount for information on the whereabouts of former presidential secretary Bruno Pacheco; however, his profile was removed after he made himself available to the Power Corruption Task Force.
