After being released by ‘Juve’, Dybala opted last week to join Roma on a three-year contract.
“I have gained experience after all these years at Juventus, a club that has a habit of winning and that transmits that to you from day one,” explained the 28-year-old Argentine player in his introductory press conference.
“I’m going to try to give my best, especially in the locker room, bearing in mind that we are a young team, to bring this experience, help us win and stay positive in the difficult moments of the season,” he said.
Roma, who won the first edition of the Europa Conference League last season, finished sixth in Serie A 2021-2022 and will play in the Europa League in the new course.
“Roma won a very important trophy last year, so we can have ambition for what is to come,” added the attacker, who said he was willing to play “in any position” that coach José Mourinho requires.
Dybala began his European career at Palermo (2012-2015), before joining Juventus. His last two seasons were largely marked by various injuries.
