Santiago.-The auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of SantiagoMonsignor Tomás Morel Diplán, favored this Monday changes of officials and speed in the works carried out by the Government.
When questioned by journalists, the Catholic prelate said that due to the fatigue shown by some officials, changes in the government train are necessary.

Similarly, Monsignor Morel Diplán asked the Government to energize and speed up the works promised to the population of Santiago.

However, Monsignor Morel Diplán recognized the investments made by the current government management, such as the construction of the monorail, the cable car, and the sanitation of ravines and other important works for the city.
Morel Diplán considered it important to speed up these development projects, so that people can enjoy them before the current administration ends.
When pondering the need for changes in government officials, he insisted that. “When there are changes in any institution, it becomes more dynamic and especially in the State. Many times new faces arrive, with new ideas, people who can contribute, because after two years of service, officials and ideas are running out, “he said.
In that order, he added that after almost two years of President Luis Abinader’s administration, a change of officials who could not be doing things well is welcome.
