More than six million homes completed until this noon the form to access the subsidies by segmenting the consumption subsidies for electricity and natural gas serviceswhile it is estimated that by the end of July there will be nearly 11 million registered users.
The information was released by the vice president of the Administrative Company of the Wholesale Electricity Market (Cammesa), Santiago Yanotti, coordinator of the segmentation program.
Yanotti formulated statements to Télam the day on which the registration period expires for users whose DNI ends in 6, 7, 8 and 9, but confirmed that from this Wednesday and until Sunday, July 31, “registration will remain open” for those who have not been able to complete the form within the established deadlines.
The official stressed the importance of carrying out the procedure, either virtually or in person, since “the decree (332/2022) provides that those that do not appear in the RASE (Registry of Access to Energy Subsidies) they will not be reached by the benefit”and consequently must pay the full rate.
However, he made it clear that “The popular neighborhoods are all subsidized by location and will continue like this even if the users who live in them do not fill out the form”.
Yanotti estimated that around 15 million households would be able to complete the form, but considered that “due to the way in which registration is growing, by the end of the month it will reach 10 or 11 million.”
“Arrived on July 31, it will be evaluated how to continue,” he stated, in addition to clarifying that the dictation of a possible extension is not among his attributions, but, in any case, “the Secretary of Energy (Darío Martínez) will have it to evaluate with the team of the minister (of Economy, Silvina Batakis)”.
Regarding the registration in person at the offices of the National Social Security Administration (Anses), he indicated that “more than 40,000 shifts have already been assigned” and that the attention will extend “until the first days of August”.
In this regard, he specified that this period does not imply a delay in the application of the new rates, because “one thing is the RASE and another when the charts begin to be applied.”
Finally, he highlighted the “good progress” of the agreements with provinces and municipalities, and pointed out that in the first case “more than half have already signed them or are about to sign them.”
