A 26-year-old man was arrested in the last few hours by members of the Anti-Drug Trafficking Police Force (FPA) in the city of Córdoba, as part of the investigations being carried out into the death of a woman who suffered poisoning from consuming ecstasy in an electronic party that took place in a bowling alley in the area.
The man was arrested near a house where an operation was carried out ordered by the First Shift Anti-Drug Trafficking Prosecutor, headed by Marcelo Sicardi, where 288 doses of marijuana and a motorcycle were seizedamong other elements of interest to the case, according to judicial sources.
According to preliminary investigations, the detainee would have a relationship with the woman 28-year-old who died from consuming ecstasy in a bowling alley in the San Roque Commune last weekend.
The young man is at the disposal of the Justice for violation of the National Narcotics Law 23,737 and the house where the operation was carried out is located in Estanislao Leartes at 1200, in the Parque San Vicente neighborhood, in the eastern part of the city of Córdoba.
The deceased young woman had attended the La Estación bowling alley on Friday night, in the San Roque commune, and at dawn on Saturday she was transferred after a decompensation to the Domingo de Santa María de Punilla Hospital, where she was hospitalized with a cerebral edema and in Critical condition in intensive care.
Hospital spokesmen indicated that in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) it was confirmed that the patient had cerebral edema due to methamphetamine intoxication.
