former presidential secretary Bruno Pachecoone of the most wanted investigators close to President Pedro Castillo, is already in the custody of the special team led by the superior prosecutor Marita Barreto, according to sources consulted by Peru21.
Two days ago, Pacheco voluntarily surrendered in the Chorrillos district to the Police team headed by Harvey Colchado, according to the same sources.
Castillo’s former right arm had not been since last March, when the Judiciary ordered his preventive detention. From that date he only appeared sporadically in audiences from a video call.

Bruno Pacheco is accused of integrating the criminal organization that the head of state would lead, according to the prosecutor’s thesis. Pacheco is being investigated for the US$20,000 found in his office at the Government Palace; for having interference in the irregular military promotions; for pressuring the head of Sunat in favor of related companies; and for participating in the directing of works from the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
