A 26-year-old woman and her four-year-old daughter were found dead in a house located on Los Palmares street, in Colonia Nicolich, Telemundo reported and the spokesman for the Canelones Police Department, Alejandro Ferreira, confirmed to El Observador.
The bodies were found by the minor’s nanny who, unable to communicate with the mother, went to the house. Ferreira indicated that the staff of section 28 went to the scene and was able to verify that the two deaths were violent.
The Scientific Police, the Homicide Department, staff from section 28 and the Headquarters Investigations area work on the case. Ferreira indicated that no hypothesis has been ruled out so far.
