The Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc) investigates the homicide of a woman who was stabbed by her husband inside her residence.
According to the information given by police officials, the incident occurred in the La Isla sector, Sabaneta parish, Alberto Arvelo Torrealba municipality, Barinas state.
The victim was identified as Rosa Guillermina Pacheco, who worked as manager of the Banco de Venezuela at the Sabaneta headquarters.
According to the first versions of the event, everything indicates that the perpetrator of the crime was Rosa’s husband, who in the midst of jealousy came to the house and after having an argument with the woman, grabbed a knife causing ten injuries to her body that caused death.
The event was reported to the authorities in the morning hours of this Saturday. Members of the detective body went to the scene to practice lifting the body and collected some evidence, as well as taking the statement of the victim’s relatives.
It was learned that Rosa’s husband is on the run; however, the police agencies remain on the trail of the alleged murderer.
