EsSalud will invest more than S/ 1,100 million to build new hospitals in Lambayeque

The Social Health Insurance (EsSalud) will invest more than S/ 1,100 million in the construction of new hospitals in Lambayeque, duly equipped and with specialized personnel, as well as in the improvement of various health services, which will benefit thousands of insured that northern region of the country.

This was announced by the executive president of EsSalud, Gino Dávila Herrera, who completed a work visit to Lambayeque where he supervised the medical services of the main hospitals in this region.

Among the projects is the construction of the Specialty Hospitalwhose work will require a budget of S/ 450 million, which includes state-of-the-art equipment and specialized personnel.

The investment portfolio also provides build the new Naylamp hospitalas well as Bicentennial or fast construction hospitals in Lambayeque, Ferreñafe, Olmos, Chongoyape and other cities of Lambayeque, for which more than S/ 700 million will be invested.

Before concluding its activities, the highest authority of Social Security toured the facilities of the Hospital II Luis Heysenin order to verify the correct care provided to policyholders in outpatient clinics and assistance areas.

Previously, he held meetings with union representatives and officials from the Lambayeque Assistance Network. The Lambayeque Benefit Network has 23 care centers serving more than 627 thousand insured.
