SANTO DOMINGO, RD-. The Industrial and Systems Engineering Student Committee of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) convenes the first “Invest in yourself” employment fair, in which some 21 companies from various areas will participate, in search of candidates for Hire permanent jobs or internships.
This is an open event aimed at students and professionals, which will be held in the lobby of the building of the Faculties of Health Sciences and Engineering on the Santo Domingo campus. Among the invited companies are the Dominican National Brewery, Corripio Distributor, Altice, Huawei, Acero Estrella, Quala and Scotiabank.
From 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm this Friday, companies will be receiving CVs from interested candidates.
Two master talks
Previously, “Invest in yourself” will offer two keynote talks, the first led by the senior manager of Recruitment and Selection of Scotiabank, Niurfy Ulerio, with the theme “Employability and personal brand: How to get a job after the pandemic”.
The second talk will be given by Paola Santos, from human resources at Laurelton Jewelry, Tiffany & Co., and will address the topic “Professional skills in today’s world of work.”
Both conferences will be held in Auditorium 1 of building A2, between 3:00 and 5:00 in the afternoon, and those interested in attending must register at the following link:
