Studies and work experience
Felipe García has a degree in Economics from ITAM and a Master’s in Economics from the London School of Economics.
He has more than 25 years of experience in banking and government positions.
He was an advisor to the General Directorate of Public Credit of the Ministry of Finance in 1995, during the six-year term of Ernesto Zedillo. He later became the head of research at IDEA Global, a London-based financial services company.
In 2000 he was the vice president of Goldman Sachs and two years later he became the director of Goldman Sachs for Latin America.
