He said that they expanded the capacity of the polling places, to install fewer voting tables, avoid queues and contagion, while training electoral actors in a timely manner.

THEY CARRY OUT A DRAW FOR TABLE MEMBERS FOR HUANCAVELICA

After the inauguration of the premises, they elected 2 thousand 172 table members for the 2022 regional and municipal elections between incumbents and substitutes.

There will be three titular members and another three substitutes for the 362 voting tables that must be installed in 19 districts and 29 populated centers, where a total of 100,698 voters will go to elect their authorities.

For this draw, they chose 25 members of each table who are of a suitable age to do this job, in addition to preferably having higher education.

In the draw, which was chaired by the notary María Morales, they chose those who are located in positions 24, 23, 21, 6, 18 and 13 of each electoral table.

On election day, the polling station members will be responsible for conducting the installation, voting and counting at the polling stations that must be installed throughout the country.

Each polling station is reserved for a minimum of 200 voters and a maximum of 300. In the same way, he said that they will train the polling station members and all those who participate in this electoral process.

CITIZENS CAN PRESENT CATCHES AGAINST TABLE MEMBERS

It should be noted that citizens can file an objection against polling station members who they consider should not be an authority on election day.

To this end, the ODPE Huancavelica will publish, on a preliminary basis, the list of polling station members, so that any citizen or representative can formulate the objections they deem pertinent, within three business days from the publication, as established by the Article 60 of the Organic Law of Elections.
