The Ministry of Health provided a new report on the situation of COVID-19 in the country. The data refer to a slight setback in positive cases.
The report provided this Friday by the Ministry of Health corresponds to epidemiological week 28, from July 10 to 16.
The data indicates that during that week, 32,423 samples were processed, of which 11,866 yielded positive results for COVID-19, thus reaching a total of 701,060 infections since the start of the pandemic.
Likewise, 43 deaths were registered, reaching the total number of 19,147 deaths in the country due to COVID-19.
Regarding hospitalized patients, the data speak of 417 hospitalized, of which 28 are in intensive care units.
