The Ministry of Culture and the Cuban Institute of Music organized for Friday, July 22, a farewell tribute to the renowned pianist, arranger, and composer César “Pupy” Pedroso, National Music Award 2013, who died in Havana on July 17 at 75 years of age.
The funeral honors of the famous and beloved artist will take place in the Foyer of the Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater of Cuba, from 10 am to 3 pm, the Cuban Institute of Music reported in a press release.
The institution specifies that this space will be fully open to the public, and that strict compliance with the sanitary measures recently taken on the island will be required, including the mandatory use of the mask.
