The Supreme Court of the Christian Democracy (DC), declared as admissible the complaint filed by parliamentarians of the community against former president Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle, senators Ximena Rincón and Matías Walker and former conventional Fuad Chahin. This, after announcing that they will vote for Rejection, going in the opposite direction to what was adopted by the party in its National Board, where they decided to support Approval.
It should be remembered that the militants Guido Iturriaga and Roberto Alvarado accused the DC representatives before the court “for contravening the political vote approved” by the community on July 6 to support the I Approve option.

After this, the complainants pointed out that both Frei, as well as Rincón, Walker and Chahin, correspond to “aggravating actions”, for which the application of “maximum sanctions” was requested. Among them, the expulsion of the community, according to Third.
In this way, once the notification of the resolution has been received, the representatives have a period of 10 business days to present their defenses and the background information or means of evidence that they deem appropriate for the situation.
