María Doris Tejada is the mother of Óscar Morales Tejada, who disappeared in Cúcuta along with other young people who they were deceived with a false job offer in Valledupar. Since she was a victim, she has become the promoter of cases of the disappeared before the Search Unit.
“It is very important that after eleven years it is the first time that the families of David Bilbao, Germán Leal and my son meet in this place, where their bodies may be”, Morales Tejada.
The investigation allowed the discovery of 18 graves without any identity of the same number of bodies that, according to the inspection and the injuries that the corpses had, it could be considered that they were victims of the armed conflict.
The skeletal remains were delivered to the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences in Barranquilla (Atlántico), to advance the process of identification based on biological tests taken from relatives.

Eleven years ago David Bilbao disappeared after traveling to Valledupar in the company of his friends Óscar Morales and Germán Leal in search of a false job opportunity. His sister Linda Bilbao has not stopped looking for him since 2011.
He highlighted the humanitarian work of the Search Unit “since then we have been accompanied, they have explained the whole process to us and thanks to that we are today in the alternative cemetery of El Copey accompanying the excavation. While here they found a body and we are still looking for my brother’s body.”
For your part Camilo Leal, brother of Germán Lealassured that “for me it is satisfying to meet the families, who like me, are in search of their relatives here in El Copey. The truth is, the damage has already been done, but I ask my God to be able to find my brother.since for many years we have been fighting this with other relatives”.
