The Chamber of Deputies prepares to know the bill of Domain Extinctionalready having against the bench of the People’s Force and the Social Christian Reformist Party (PRSC), who warned that they will not vote in favor of the piece unless it is proposed as an organic law.
The spokespersons of the parties People’s Force and Christian Social Reformist (PRSC) affirmed that during this Tuesday’s session they will express in the hemicycle the faults that the regulations have for their consideration.
Rubén Maldonado, spokesman for the People’s Forceindicated that during the meeting to be held by the coordinating commission (which is in charge of approving the session’s agenda), it will propose that the project be given the treatment of organic law and not ordinary law.
“We are going to present this to the president of the Chamber of Deputies and we will assert this claim within the discussions that take place in the Chamber of Deputies here on this project, not only the unconstitutionality due to the issue that has to do with the organic, but also in what has to do with the serious contradictions that this project has with the Constitution”, Maldonado explained.
The deputy said that the bill was done with a “political issue” and that he hopes that in the lower house the initiative will be given a different treatment than that given to it by the senators.
“We understand, believe and it would seem that what the Government is playing is that the project really falls, because approving it with the shortcomings it has is causing it to fall in the Constitutional Court,” he pointed.
The spokesperson for the opposition party People’s Forceindicated that the bench “will make a rabid opposition” to the bill of Domain Extinction.
“We as a party agree with the project, we believe in it and we understand that it is necessary to be able to prosecute the assets that derive from organized crime and corruption, but we cannot allow a project that comes to question and harm the Dominican people for prosecute corruption and persecute organized crime,” said the deputy.
He denied that there was a political agreement to achieve the approval of the project with the participation of all the benches and assured that the law Domain Extinction It is a legal project that creates the conditions for the assets of organized crime to be seized and go into the hands of the State.

The caucus of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), has reiterated that it will not vote in favor of the piece due to the treatment with which it was known in the Senate of the Republic, which alleges that it is not the right one, since it was known as ordinary and due to the aspects that this treatment should be known as organic.
The spokesman for the deputies of the PLDGustavo Sánchez, accused the pro-government legislators of not “want” for the bill to become law.
