“I’m starting to play better, to adapt better,” says Moreno Martins

Marcelo Moreno Martins scored one of the goals in the victory (2-1) of Cerro Porteño against October 12 for the first date of the Closing Tournament. The Bolivian analyzed the moment he lives as a Barça player.

In a press conference given today, the Bolivian striker alluded to the start of a new championship and the goals set for the second half of the year.

“I’m starting to play better, you always want to improve. I want to push myself to the maximum this season, I want to score a lot of goals to help the team become champions”, he expressed.

Regarding the competition for a place in the Cyclone attack, Moreno asserted: “There is a very healthy, very beautiful friendship. There is an internal competition to want to be better, to be a starter. In everything one competes, nobody has a guaranteed position ”.

Likewise, the scorer of the Bolivian team said that he received polls from other teams, but that the decision was to continue in the Obrero neighborhood.

“There were surveys, they spoke with my employer. But at no time did I want to move from Cerro Porteño, because of everything I’ve experienced since I arrived, because of the love I’ve felt from Cerro’s fans and even from other teams,” he said.

Moreno Martins added: “Paraguay has received me very well, and I know how to recognize that, despite not contributing with many goals as I usually do. There were proposals but I decided to stay here”.
