The latest survey of International Datum showed that for 63% of those surveyed, the Government of peter castle is not doing anything to get the country and Peruvians out of the economic crisis, while 22% considered that it is doing something and only 13% considered that it is doing everything possible.
Another aspect addressed in the study was the economic situation of the respondents and their households. In this sense, only 22% of the participants stated that they and their households cover expenses with their income without any difficulty, without the need to go into debt. Meanwhile, 45% said that they cover part of their expenses with their income, but that they have debts that they have been paying with effort, and 31% said that their income is not enough and that they have many debts that are difficult to pay. This last percentage was much higher than the 18% recorded in March of this year.

Impact of rising prices
Another aspect that could be observed was that 80% of respondents, or eight out of 10, stated that in the last 12 months the rise in prices of products and services has affected them a lot. 18% said that it has affected them little and only 1% said that it has not affected them.
To this is added that 53% feel that the country has stagnated during the first year of President Pedro Castillo’s government and 39% consider that the country has regressed. 6% said they felt that the country had advanced.
Regarding the payment of bonuses, the main destination of this benefit will be the payment of debts, according to 37% of those surveyed who stated that they would receive this additional payment for National Holidays. They were then listed as buying things or doing home improvements (26%) and saving (15%). To a lesser extent, spending on education (5%), traveling or walking (3%), investing (3%), buying personal things (3%) and spending on health (3%) was observed.
