More doubts accumulate about the Espino Lucana and their apparent front companies that won millionaire contracts for works in Cajatambo, Lima provinces, and Anguía, Cajamarca.
The Sunday Fourth Power revealed that Viviana Alcántara Montes was coincidentally a member of the 2 selection committees of the municipalities of Anguía and Cajatambo that gave the go-ahead to consortiums linked to Anggi and Hugo Espino, the latter being close to the president’s sister-in-law peter castle, Yenifer Paredes.
In the case of Cajatambo, Alcántara was a titular member of the committee that on September 16, 2021 awarded the Gorgor consortium -which integrates JJM Espino- the work for the recovery of the infrastructure and equipment of the Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo educational center, for an amount of S/3,876,061.73.
In the Anguía tender, Alcántara served as the titular president of the committee that on November 25, 2021 awarded the Econs consortium – which integrates Destcon Ingenieros & Arquitectos – a sanitation work valued at more than S / 3 million. Viviana Alcántara remains untraceable so far, even for her family, according to Cuarto Poder.
Both companies, created by the Espino brothers, would lack the experience and even the logistical structure to carry out large-scale works, as Peru21 denounced yesterday.
Go to the Prosecutor’s Office
the lawyer of Yenifer Paredes, José Dionicio, indicated to Perú21 that he recommended his client to take legal action before the Prosecutor’s Office, which is investigating her for one of these cases. The president’s sister-in-law was summoned for this Tuesday.
“I have recommended it to him and even more so knowing recent events,” he asserted. The lawyer avoided answering if his sponsored knew that Destcon worked in a Puente Piedra juice store.
