Rodríguez, in the company of the Minister of Food, Carlos Leal Tellería, highlighted that in the country there was an “upturn” in the production of rice, corn flour, and other grains; pasta and animal protein processing; also driven by the situation generated by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and thus not depend on imports.

Delcy Rodríguez stressed that the call is to maintain the “national union” to have a productive Venezuela “so that it shields us from the attacks of the wicked, who are always planning how to harm our people.”
Minister Mervin Maldonado was also present at the activity, who highlighted that more than 2,450,000 Venezuelans have been assisted so far in 2022 through government policies in favor of those affected by the “blockade.”
