The daily positivity of covid-19 from one day to the next rose from 21% to 22.82%, according to data issued by the health authorities, who did not register deaths in the last 24 hours, although 393 positive cases, which were detected in 1,722 tests. .
As for positivity in the last four weeks, it stands at 13.83%
In bulletin number 849, the Ministry of Public Health reported that 1,487 subsequent samples were performed. Of the total tests carried out, 3,209, some 912 were Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and 2,297 antigens.
Since the beginning of the disease to date, 3,556,143 tests have been carried out.
The authorities’ report records 4,874 active cases, 621,963 registered cases, 612,679 recovered cases and 2,934,207 discarded cases.
Occupation
The occupation of covid-19 beds is 6.8%, of a total of 2,373 enabled, only 162 have patients.
As for ICU beds, of 585 in existence, 23% are occupied, for 3.9%.
Ventilators, of 469 that were enabled by the Ministry of Public Health, only five patients are connected.
Deaths
So far in the Dominican Republic, 4,383 people have died from the disease. The lethality is 0.70% and 417.49 mortality per million.
comorbidity
The comorbidities that have had the highest incidence in the mortality rate with respect to the disease are: hypertension and diabetes.
24.62% of deaths have been due to hypertension and 19.19% due to diabetes.
