Guadalajara, Jal., Adán Augusto López Hernández, Secretary of the Interior, on his tour of Jalisco, yesterday denied being in the pre-campaign and said that he has not publicly expressed any aspirations regarding the presidential succession.

I have had some demands notified by the electoral authorities and I have responded to all of them in a timely manner. Indeed, demonstrations of support for me have appeared, not just in Jalisco, but throughout the country, which I am very grateful for, as in many cases I have distanced myself or have had to file complaints.
