Hernández Lárez explained on his social networks during the weekend of July 16 and 17 they carried out several actions in Apure against irregular groups.
The head of the Strategic Operational Command of the National Armed Forces, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported on his social networks this Sunday that FAN soldiers located and deactivated some 14 explosive devices of various types in Apure.
During an operation carried out this Sunday, July 17, in the Santa Rosa sector of the Páez municipality of the aforementioned entity, the FAN military personnel also found gunpowder, ammunition, uniforms, backpacks and other supply material.
He took advantage of his social networks to also indicate that a boat was seized with several pimpinas that were used, presumably, for the illegal smuggling of products.

In a previous operation, G/J Hernández Lárez indicated that FAN planes shot down an “invading” plane in Apure, after violating the country’s airspace; this being the 20th aircraft of the year to be destroyed for committing this type of infraction.
